About Me

My Name is Jeremy B. Teitelbaum

I began teaching Communication at California Polytechnic State University, better knowns as Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2001. I have taught courses in public speaking and small group communication. After my daughters were born I became interested in studying communication differences and the brain. This lead me to the Netherlands where I took my first graduate course in Cognitive Neuroscience at the world famous Donders Institute at Radboud University in 2015. Two years later I was accepted as a research participant at Cog Novo, a collaborative research program bringing scholars together from all over the globe and sponsored by Sony Corp among the European Union and others. In addition to publishing a highly successful textbook on communication, I am the author of the book Speak from the Brain. I have had the chance to conduct training workshops for thousands of professionals at dozens of organization across the globe. I have written article for several professional association magazines. I have developed a keynote speech based on my research from the book.
